thought on today's Gospel

In today's homily, Fr. David made such a fascinating point that I had to share it with you all.

When Jesus told Peter to come to him on the water, he did not calm the elements first- instead, he gave Peter the ability to come to him even on stormy seas. Only after catching Peter and guiding him back to the boat did the wind and the waves die down.
