What we all need really bad

In a moment of inspiration, I picked up a catalog from the kitchen table and realized what America really needs-

New trash cans! On average, you only pay about $130.00. Stainless steel. All-new technology.

Good grief, what is this society coming to-!

If anyone out there is tempted to invest in one of these streamlined beauties, please consider giving 90% of the fund to charity instead. So maybe your trash receptacle will seem a little less special- I'm truly sorry.

As one of my brothers commented, "Talk about throwing away money...."

New technology in...trashcans? How could they possibly do that? I don't even know what they could improve!

Anyway, good point.

Well, you see, they're called "no-fingerprint," whatever that means, there's a little storage compartment underneath for extra garbage bags (*gasp*), and all this other stuff...

Oh, no, YOU wouldn't take it to the curb. Your valet (Jeeves?) would. *g*

The best trash can is already mine. It has a nice wooden look even though it's not made of wood, and of a shade that happens to go perfectly with the dark green Steubie bookstore bags, which fit perfectly in it as trash bags. It ends up having a wonderful woody look/feel. My only disappointment will be when I graduate and won't have a supply of Steubie bookstore bags to use with it anymore.
