Holy Whapsters Report Movement in Hoped-For Orthodox/Catholic Reunion
Drew has some good comments as well as a fair summary of the progress itself. Sorry I don't have much to add, just a couple points...
1: Dom Gueranger's The Papal Monarchy is an excellent defence of the primacy of the Pope.
2: With Muslims flooding Europe once again, it would be handy to have the Orthodox out there in the East to be able to help us out... somehow. As I believe I've said, I don't believe in just plain chasing down all violent Muslims because that pretty much creates more violent Muslims and because it's, well, impractical; but if they actually attack us in some manner, then we fight back if reasonably possible.
